hurt so bad

I read and read stories and it's always the same. 

Girls who love each other but have to keep it a secret for the other people. 

I hate it, 

hiding true love, 

I really hate it.

We should be able to hold hands in public, and kiss. 
We are people like everyone else, 
why can't they understand that.

They think that normal is boy and girl, 

they don't know love comes in many ways... 

A mother for her child, 

a person for his pet, 

a grandmother for her grandchildren, 

a person for the environment, 

a boy for a girl, 

a girl for a boy, 

a girl for a girl and a boy for a boy. 

They don't get it. 

And they try to destroy the things they're not used to.

Well, let me tell you. 

It hurts us that they treat us like that, 

like some kind of weird thing. 

We're people just like them. 

Can't they see it? 

Sometimes their hate and ignorance kill us. 

It's not fair that they treat us like that because 

we like something they're not used to.
